Goodbye Blood and Roses

Hey

Almost finished. Placement finished on Friday and now just my research proposal to go. First draft done, now just need to get into word count and polish it off. Hopefully I'll have it done and dusted by the weekend so that I can enjoy my time back at Uni.

 I always give chocolates or baking when I finish placement. When I was Uni, it tended to be brownies due to my lack of baking equipment there. As I was home I went with a more artistic approach with flower covered cupcakes.

First dozen completed

Everyone in the office seemed impressed, they were all taking photos on their phones. I was informed if I had made another dozen (36 in total) that they would have been about £250 if made for a wedding. They all thought that I could have a cake business on the side of my physiotherapy once I'm qualified (not long).

I also had to go emergency dress shopping this weekend for my physiotherapy graduation ball. I'm awful when it comes to formal dress shopping - I never know what I want. I didn't take as long this year to find one. Photos will be coming

All In The Golden Afternoon

Last weekend seemed like the first day of spring with the warmer weather. Hopefully this weather will stick around for a long time especially as I am nearly finish on placement and with Uni!!

While out shopping, we came across this window display in John Lewis. I think it makes the perfect inspiration for a party. I wondered if these any other window displays that could be used as inspiration. I do love the Harrods windows at Christmas.

Pictures of You

Hey

Over the Easter weekend, my sister introduced me to her new camera. I have now become her photographer with a more high-tech toy. The only problem is now she wants to find more interesting places to take her outfit of the day pictures which round our way means a bit of travelling.

On my first outing with her camera, I took my favourite picture. I love the way that I managed to capture the movement of the wind when I was focusing on my sister's nail.

At least all her followers will know that I'm her photographer as I got a mention and photo one of her blog posts. The only problem is now she has told me I got go back to Uni or only for a short time as she needs me around for her photo shoots.

Sister Suffragette

March is over which means so is the DisneyBound March Challenge. I didn't manage to wear inspired outfits everyday of the month but I managed 15 which is half of the month (I don't think that's too bad for a first attempt at the challenge and for being on placement the whole time - my uniform isn't that interesting). However as it was a long weekend I did squeeze one more in even though it was April :)

I would say my favourite outfit of the month was Flynn Rider. My next challenge (we after finishing off all my uni) is planning my french inspired outfits for my trip to Paris in June :)

On The Third Day

Hey

Happy Belated Easter! (yes I am a bit slow with my posts due to dissertation and placement). Hope everyone had a good weekend. I spent the day cooking. That was pretty much my day. Made the decorations for my cakes, then helped cook our roast dinner. Then baked and made my cakes for tea that night.
