Can You Feel The Love Tonight

Yesterday I got treated to seeing The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre for a Valentine's treat :)  To start with we explored the markets at Covent Garden and got some yummy food to keep us going through the show as sweets at theatres tend to be on the expensive side.

The theatre is beautiful inside and the show was amazing!!! I would definitely recommend it, and I want to go see it again but this time sit down in the stalls as animals come down the aisles to the stage during the opening to The Circle of Life. My sister was brushed by the elephant when she went to go see it a couple of years ago. I also wouldn't mind sitting in one of the boxes as some of the cast come up there for some of the numbers. Afterwards we grabbed a drink and some food to try avoid the initial rush for the tubes. I got some of Ben's Cookies. They are delicious especially straight from the oven and when it's getting cold outside.

That's one more musical I can tick of my list that I want to go see. Definitely want to try and see Ghost as one of my flatmates went to go see it on Friday night and they said the effects and singing were incredible.

Today I just wanted to post a message to a special person to me. I never felt like I could find the right words, so perhaps these might do.

The night after we first spoke, I went outside and wished on the brightest star that all my happiness could be given to you so that you could feel better. I know you think wishing on stars is cliched and naive. But that’s me. In fact, I am so naive that I like to imagine that you still think about me now, three years later. I like to think that you sometimes wonder about me, sometimes wish you could tell me secrets and tell me jokes like you used to.
But even if you don’t, even if I was nothing but a blip on the grand radar of your beautiful life, that’s okay. You taught me more about myself than any other person, and in return I can only hope that you know how much I will always love you. I wish, still, after all this time, that you’re the happiest person on the planet. I wish for you love, joy and hope. Not because you gave me those things. But because you taught me how to find them in myself. I will never forget you.

Flash Bang Wallop

Hey

Been back to uni for two days now and already tired. Had an interesting day yesterday though. My mate got tickets to go see Britain's got Talent audition at the Hammersmith Apollo, so off we went to go have a laugh. We got the tickets quite quickly but then there was a lot of waiting around to be done.

We waited for ages, then got told the Judges' arrival had been cancelled so to go get warmed up and come back for 2. The info with the email said 1 doors open, half 1 start. We came back for just after half 1 and got in pretty quickly but had reruns of a previous series until half 3 when everything started. Got to see Ant and Dec, David, Alesha (I don't know what she was wearing), Carmen and Simon.

That's the best photo that I got of anyone famous. My friends got better ones that I'm going to try and steal off their cameras at some point. We were like 7 rows from the front, within 10m of the Judge's table and really close to a speaker. The buzzers are so LOUD!! And when all four have been hit, that really needs to come with a flashing lights warning. We left with three acts left to go because we had to get back for going out that night. The best act by far was James and Ed. Hopefully they make the final cut :)

Goodbye to You

Hey!!

Had a very busy week, but finally finished my second placement yesterday :( Going to miss going to work. Mind you I won't miss waking up at half 4 in the morning. The team were amazing and have taught me a lot so just want to say a BIG thank you to them.

So what did I do to celebrate finishing?? I got myself a Starbucks!! First time I've had one since being back at uni. You can't beat a peppermint hot chocolate and apple and cinnamon muffin.

On the way back, I got to sit next to the cutest passenger on the tube.

If I had a dog like that I would call him Aslan. That's because he reminds me of the loin, the witch and the wardrobe.

So what have i got install for my free weekend before starting back at uni?? Filling in all my paperwork for placements and travel expenses. What fun.
