Shopping

Hey

So, last week I finally got home from Uni for the summer which was so nice to sleep in my own bed again. The next day, I went shopping and found a dress that I was looking for from DisneyBound, which I will be wearing this week for my boyfriend's graduation, and another dress that I might keep for my graduation next year.

I haven't done a lot this week, I haven't even finished unpacking as I haven't really got the space. But I'm off again tomorrow to head back to Ascot for a few days (not sure how long for).

But before I head off again, after lunch today, I went to Fat Face and New Look and picked up a few things that I now need a holiday for so I can wear them. Hopefully I can create a "Circle of Life" DisneyBound look with them.

I was also taken to the new vintage shop in town, which is pretty cool. They set the area up into different rooms to display their stock. They had some beautiful wedding dresses and a dressing table that my sister adored.

Vintage Clothes

Hey

This weekend was a bit of a disaster as I lost my internet all weekend and Murray lost at Wimbledon :( He will win it one year.

However I did end up going out on Saturday with some mates from my flat as one of them was moving out on Monday. We decide to head into London and just decide from there where we would go. We left at just after 1pm and got into Liverpool Street as 3pm. The joy of maintenance on the tubes. Dom was the expert on places in London so we headed off to Spitalfields and the market there before heading off towards Brick Lane to have a look at all the vintage stuff.

Market at Spitalfields
The market was really nice. It have a wide variety of stalls including lots of cupcake ones (I did resist buying some, having no money also helped). There was one stall that I really liked - PrettyCuckoo. There were quite a few necklace on there that I thought would be very happy to own but my favourite was a pocketwatch that was on a long chain that had the cogs exposed in the middle. I didn't have the money to buy it so I'll have to either try and get it online or wait till I take my sister there as she loves vintage markets too.

New Shoes

Hey

Last week was my sister's birthday, so this past weekend, she and my mum came down to London to visit me as I'm still on placement (less than 2 weeks left till my summer starts!). We visited the Christian Louboutin thing at the Design Museum near Tower Bridge (you can tell I'm soo into my shoes).

Outside the Design Museum

The walk there was nice as I got to go over London Bridge which I have never done. There was also the Olympic rings suspended from the bridge obviously as they get ready for the Games.

Tower Bridge

I then ended up spending the rest of the weekend being dragged around the big department stores looking at shoes as my sister tried to decide whether or not to buy some Louboutin shoes. She didn't in the end (yet).
