Stay Free

Hey

Well I finished my 3rd placement of the year yesterday in paeds at the Royal Free Hospital.

I'm happy with the mark I got although I was told to find my mojo. Perhaps I can find it on my next placement that starts on Monday. At least I got to finish my last day seeing my favourite patient from the 4 weeks. He was sooo cute!

Anyway now I have the task of packing up my stuff so that I can move back to Uni for my last placement as the house runs out on Tuesday. I woke up one of my housemates when I stayed cleaning this morning :S oops!

In a World of My Own

Hey

I've been having a quiet weekend as its before my last week of my current placement so I've been finish off my presentation while watching the French Open finals.

However during my breaks in between work, I discussed an awesome site, especially for me. I'm a huge Disney fan as it keeps me young at heart and I found DisneyBound that uses Disney characters as inspiration for outfits in a modern way.

So far I've looked through most of the characters, my favourite being Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan and Cinderella. But all of them are amazing!! I actually have some of the items of clothing used in some of the Cinderella inspired outfits.

Would definitely suggest having a look if you have a free afternoon :)

Angels, Roses and Rain

I went home for the Jubilee weekend for a few days break from my placement. I didn't get as much work done as I had hoped but I did manage to spend some time out and about.

On the Sunday, even though it was drizzling, we headed over to Snape Maltings to go the the Vintage market that they were hosting. The weather didn't really help the event but there was some nice things about. I tried on a dress but decided that I didn't like how it looked on. There was some really nice furniture but it was very expensive. As we it was cold, we decided to have a look around inside and picked up some yummy marshmallow cookies. I also found some furniture I would like once I eventually have a house. There was some plates I wanted from country corner although I wanted them in blue not purple which I could see if they did as the website is french and is only for companies to purchase stock from.

As the weather wasn't great we ended up eating our picnic in the car and as normal we had too much food.

On the Monday before heading back to Uni, we popped down to the flower festival at my local church. Each year it has a theme and this year it was the Jubilee. Here are some of my favourite displays.
